Reserving a Puppy

Your first step to reserving a Ruby Jewel puppy is to contact us by phone. We have found that this works best as we will be able to answer each others questions and feel comfortable before placing a deposit on your future family member. Once this step has been completed we will email you a copy of our puppy deposit form along with a short questionnaire that you will return to us along with your deposit.

Potential Ruby Jewel family members are carefully screened before approval as we like to ensure, to the best of our ability, that our puppies are being placed in a loving and nurturing environment. Be prepared to answer a lot of questions from us before being approved . Once all of our questions have been addressed we will email you our deposit form to place your deposit.

We place our puppies in the order of deposits received and no deposit is accepted until buyers have been approved. Our deposits are non-refundable as it is your commitment that you will be providing a forever home for the Ruby Jewel puppy you are putting your deposit on. Refunds may be given if the chosen puppy develops an issue that prohibits their placement only.

We can never guarantee that your Ruby Jewel puppy will have a certain shade of color. Meaning how dark our puppies will be considering yellow can range in shades from a light cream to a dark fox red.

We will start assessing our puppies at 6 weeks of age so that we can match each puppy with their forever families. We raise all of puppies inside the home so we get to know all of them very well, which helps us in the placing process . We spend a lot of time getting to know our families as well, and in return your puppy is chosen for you to ensure your puppy is the perfect fit for your lifestyle and that each puppy will thrive in it's new forever home.

At Ruby Jewel we reserve the right to the first two picks of each litter and reserve the right to not sell to any person or family at anytime for any reason.

Visitation & Pick-up

Considering the many germs and diseases that can be brought into our home that can be life threatening to all of our dogs, we do not offer visitation until pick up. Instead, we create a private and dedicated Facebook page for each litter that is updated with pictures and  videos of each puppy for families to watch them grow. We feel like this process is a good compromise and allows each puppies new forever family the chance to get to know their new puppy before they welcome them home. You will see photos and videos, updates and milestones of the litter, and see periodic features on all pups in the litter.
